    Dear Mother-in-law,

My six-year-old son talks very disrespectfully to me and his father. He uses appropriate language and even manners, but he says things in such a way that it makes me both want to strangle him and crawl into a hole! For instance, he’ll say “excuse me” sarcastically, raise his voice when responding to questions, and argue over minor details in his day. My husband and I disagree on how to handle this behavior, but need to present a united front. Any suggestions?

    Dear Mother-in-Law,

My second child, a 6 months old baby, has quite a personality: she is fussy most of the day and, sometimes, I feel that I don’t have enough energy and patience to deal with her and the rest of the house. Any advice?
